Matilda by Roald Dahl

I've completed this book and I only have one thing to say: This is not a children's book.

The weird thing is that it is. It is something that only children can innocently enjoy without feeling something immensely wrong with the overall events in the book. Only someone with reason who picks up this book realizes that something is very very wrong with the world inside. Yet, somehow, Roald Dahl gets away with it because he is such a wonderful writer with an even more wonderful sense of humor.

I recommend it.
