Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers Video

This is the first youtube video I posted up. FINALLY!!! RAWR!!! Anywho, I hope you enjoy. I have the lyrics below.

Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers

Verse:
Good night sleep tight young lovers
Tonight is the night where everything makes sense
Go your way now and do not fear
fire fire they aren't here tonight

Prechorus:
There are and will be a thousand princes; a thousand princes
But there's only one you.
But there's only one you.

Chorus:
Tones sound, and roar and storm about me
until I have set them down in notes.
So shut these ears and close these eyes child
for what comes next transcends your sanity

Bridge:
Father father why have you forsaken me
Father father into your hands I commend my spirit

Verse2:
Good night sleep tight young lovers
goodbyes are coming soon
go your way now and do not fear
choir choirs they disappear

FAHK

Very soon, I'll be able to drink and I'm pretty sure I won't drink. But I am feeling like I'm getting shafted by life a lot more nowadays. So I made something to help me out a bit.

FAHK is an acronym I just made up. For Always Having Kindness. It's something to remind myself that stress is bad. It reminds me that if I'm not "kind", then I bring other people down too so I should be careful. It helps me to just repeatedly say it. Out loud.

Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers

This is a song I've been trying to write for a while. Unlike my accursed music video, I could write songs by myself so I was able to write the song without too many hiccups. I'm excited. Tsk, I want to play some live shows but I don't know if Rebekah is willing. She is roughly 95% of the band. After I write the song, I'm practically useless. Not even good looking but do what you love. Right?

Updates: I really have no idea if the music video is going to be acceptable. If it isn't, I'm going to just count my losses and try to write better songs. I hope D.Money does some editing miracles to make it look absolutely amazing.

I want to start posting videos up on Youtube. I hope I can soon. Sometime this week hopefully.

I'm kind of getting vacation blues so maybe this song will be extra good. I hope so. I need to get even more depressed now if I want a better song. Either way, it's a win-win situation for me. Though I'm kind of wanting to get more depressed now.

My City - RizzleMahChizzle feat. D.Money and Righteous (Raichuss)

This is a little collaboration I did with D.Money and Righteous (Raichuss). The flower mask was made my the amazing and talented Amanda Evans. Mad props to her. The song is called My City. :D

Lyrics:

My City

Verse:

Once upon a time someone committed a crime

Of executing something absolutely sublime

He made a proclamation in the nation and he said

We are tired of living as if we were dead

Everywhere you see you see depravity reign

And you wonder if in the end anything will remain

But I’d rather have this city than a city mundane

This city

Is my gravity

Chorus:

[This city is]

Dirty and dangerous

But it’s alive and wonderful

Verse2:

All night I hear the chorus of the ratatatats

I see babies share their room with disease-infested rats

Those who happen to be different have to flock together

You can always find someone who’s more under the weather

But the days of rain eventually stop

The flood doesn’t always decimate the crop

I like the way this pretty city runs its shop

This city is my gravity

Ludwig Van Beethoven

I saw this on a shirt of a colleague of mine.

"Music should strike fire from the heart of man, and bring tears from the eyes of woman." - Ludwig Van Beethoven

Quite the lyricist I say. So eloquent.

SAT Vocabulary

Taking myself back to the past.

DID YOU KNOW:

That niggardly (reluctant to give or spend; stingy) is not banned from SAT vocabulary?

However, waspish (irascibly or petulantly spiteful) is banned because it is racist.

I just thought this was interesting.

This Ridiculously Dumb World of Ours...

Wow.

This World Of Ours...

On September 6, 2007, Alex was found dead in his room. Dr. Irene Pepperberg placed him in his room the night before and he was perfectly fine. His last words before she left him were:

"You be good. See you tomorrow. I love you."

Now here's the huge twist. Alex is a parrot.

Movie Scripting

I want to write a script for a movie. A short film or something because I'm too lazy to write for a feature length film. I don't know what it'll be about but I know what I want.

I want:

- A hypnotist
- A contract killer
- A pretty girl that's very much like a guy without all the obscenities of man (basically, a perfect woman)
- A blind guy
- A character nicknamed "the reverend" for no apparent reason

I want them to be around a round table talking about stuff. I don't know what. Not about zombies for sure.

I also want to make a samurai film. It's about the top five samurai in a large city full of other samurai (apparently, you can't pluralize the word "samurai"). They'd also be talking.

This is strongly influenced from Shigurui but whatever. The top five will all have deformities.
  1. The #1 samurai is completely retarded and only gains sanity when he wields a blade. I completely ripped that off of Shigurui. Anywho, he doesn't say much during the conversation because he's retarded. [For those of you who don't know, I'll explain in the words of D.Money: "The concept is, he is so dedicated to swordsmanship that he lost his sanity. He's constantly thinking of swordsmanship that he lost the ability to think about other things." or something of the sort. Not his words exactly but I thought Daro (D.Money) ought to have some credit. ]
  2. The #2 samurai has only one arm. (props to Shigurui) He'll have a sort of one-sided view on things. Get it? Because he has one arm! haha. I'll figure something out.
  3. The #3 samurai is blind. (also props to Shigurui but mostly to Zatoichi) He'll look very gentle and kind but be completely filled with hatred for the world. Blind with hatred. hahaha.
  4. The #4 samurai is a little girl or a decrepit old man. Not sure. Either way, he/she is going to be super wise in a certain biased way. I'm leaning towards old man. Like really old. He'll talk of how the old days were or something.
  5. The #5 samurai is just an ordinary guy. He's strong but he can't compare to samurais #1-4. He'll just have boring ordinary views on everything because he's boring and ordinary.
They will also be around a table and talking about things. I haven't decided what. But I'll have fun and I want the script to be completely Japanese. For authenticity.

I'm excited for both. If anybody wants to help me, then please let me know. I'll dump most of the workload on you. :D haha.

Please help! :D

2LDK

This is by far the most fascinating movie I've watched this year. It's about two roommates who don't connect well. I'd consider it a short film because it only goes for an hour long but not sure. I don't even know if I should recommend this film or not. Watch at your own discretion. It's pretty funny at times.

PostScript. Some of you may be wondering what the title means. It means 2 bedrooms, a Living room, a Dining room, and a Kitchen. It's the type of apartment they are in.

The Unfortunate Incident at Oxford Academy

I've recently heard of this. My APUSH teacher was arrested for sexually molestationing a female student. I was quite shocked to hear this because I thought he was a happy family man. They also picked the scariest picture they could find of him too.

Anywho, it kind of saddens me because he was a really cool human being. So much prayer is needed right now. For me. As well as him. As well as that female student. I wonder what happened? I thought of investigating through my over abundant source of friends (which comes out to be an impressive 3 or 4) but I thought against it. I won't let my curiosity get the better of me.

How fascinating though. Hrm. Curious and curiouser.

God is good. All the time. Even when sin overcomes.

A Solitary Get-Away

This is my third post for the day. I have done this before but all the posts were pre-thought out and I just wanted to post it before I forgot. Today, however, I'm posting out of shear boredom. All I know have gone away to their respective colleges and I am stuck at home. I finished watching Firefly and Serenity and I'm lining up Chuck. As much as I would love to sit down and watch another 15 hours of television shows, I just had to do something else. In my time of solitude, I've stressed out about my music video, wrote a list of things I don't want to do but must, thought about getting a girlfriend, and saddest of all, I wrote my third unpremeditated post on my blog.

I am struggling with the second half of break.

However, I found a solution. I'm going to go out. On a solitary get-away. I'm going to get away from myself. But I'm not going to anybody either. I'm going to go and pay a painful 10 dollars to watch a movie at the Long Beach Town Center (hopefully, it'll be matinée and a bit cheaper).

Right now, I'm in the process of choosing the movie and I hope I choose well. These long hours of solitude taught me a valuable lesson. I will bold it for emphasis.

"One cannot live alone for too long. Everybody hates themselves too much to do so."

I know. Philosophical. I'm going to make this movie viewing as religious and spiritual as possible. I'm going to pray before I go, pray at the theatre, and pray right after I wake up.

Wish me luck friends.

Godzilla

I just fell in love with Alvin's creation. So I'm gonna try to replicate it (or perhaps just use it from the church) in my music video (I do hope Alvin doesn't mind) and post up pictures about it. Some may say it's narcissistic of me to post pictures of myself. I just call it vanity.

I call this, "Godzilla in the Twenty First Century"

I call this one, "Godzilla in Motion"

I dub this one the more dubious, "The Feast"

Dominos - The Big Pink

I think I like this music video because of the Asian drummer. :D

My Attraction To The Religious and A Little Rant On Girls And Boys

I found myself getting more and more attracted to religious figures in television shows and movies. I really like Frollo in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I like Jesus in the Passion of the Christ.

My latest infatuation is Shepherd Book in Firefly. There is this one thing he says that I thought was pretty funny.

Shepherd Book: "If you take any sexual advantage over her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. The level reserved for child molesters and people who talk in theatres."

That's more or less what he said. There are definitely some things religiously, that he says that I kind of wince at but overall, he's a likeable character and he has extremely crazy hair.

Anywho, I also just wanted to say something that I kind of figured out concerning girls, boys, and what they do to express adoration for the other.

Girls spend time on boys. Boys spend money on girls.

That's why you always hear boys complain about finances and you never see girls. (When they are in a relationship)

Of course, this is a broad generalization but I see that this is fairly true. More or less. Give or take a couple truth units.

Keep God in your hearts. :D

PostScript. Zac Efron comes out in Firefly. Man, even as a child he's made amazing choices. He's so cool.
