While I was doing homework, I felt a sudden wave of nostalgia. I was taking a SHORT break; I was looking at pictures on facebook. My friend had a picture of a me and a couple of friends in highschool. I did not know at the time but as I was thinking about it, I
think I figured out why I had this amazingly refreshing feeling.
I think it was because everything changes except studying. No matter how old I am, or how much I change, I will always have to study. I always study in the computer labs at BIOLA. And contrasting with this constant factor (math term!), are all the friends and relationships and events that have changed in my life.
In freshmen year, I remember studying in the computer lab. I also remember chilling a lot with Leah Lee, going to Cerritos clusters lead by Andrew Sasuke Kim, getting to know Simon Chung, a dear friend of mine (hohoho).
In sophomore year, I remember studying in the computer lab. I also remember chilling a lot with Younjoo Lee, getting extremely close to Simon Chung, my dear Cer
ritos Clusters slowly dying off, not chilling at all with Leah Lee, making beautiful music with Rebekah Baird, and chilling a bit more with Ju Cho, Rui Guo, Daros, and Buren.
Finally, in Junior year, I study in the computer lab. I also play intermurals Volleyball with Leah The-Beast Lee (a new nickname I dubbed her), I regretfully chill less with Simon Chung, I room with Buren Luk, I see a lot more of D.Money (Daros, who I think is an awesome person.).
These are only things that I experience in daily life. There are my dear highschool friends who I don't chill with too much but they are still very close to my heart. Yoojin, whom I respect and adore. DaKimi, who is always a pleasure to chill with. Since we do not meet too often, I see changes in their lives every time I see them. Sarah Cho who is seriously like a my
sterious figure in my life right now. I have not communicated directly with her for around two or so years but it seems like she is near.
My heart aches a lot as I write about these changes in my life. I am reminiscing about all the things that I have been blessed by. However, I rejoice greatly because I have so much to look forward to. And at the end of everything, there is heaven.
If you've read this far, props.
God is good. So good.
PostScript. Turkey Bowl practice was fun. I can take on the offensive line any day. boy.
PostPostScript. I have to give a shout-out to Michelle Park, who is cool but weird. I don't know. I feel like she should have been in this post but I don't know. Since I feel bad for not including her in the post, I just add a picture of her here:
gagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagagaga.
No hard feelings, Michelle. Since she's cool, she shouldn't have any. gagaga.
