I found today that I love algebra. At the same time, I found out I hate graphs. I don't know what section of math this forsaken thing is in.
Anywho, I love algebra because it simplifies things. It can turn this:
into
I love turning something retardedly messy into something simple.
I just like the thought of me turning something almost unbearable to look at, and turning it into a very simple relatable number. It gives me a sense of control.
Graphs on the other hand...are sucks. They are so complicating and even simple ones tend to go on forever.
This monkey for example:
is actually this in reality.
IT GOES ON FOREVER!!!!!
I put it in these terms:
"At the end of this graph, God is there." - Richard The-Emperor Chung
That's right my friends. When you guys find the ending point of this graph, you will find God. Or you can find God by reading a book called the Bible.
Anywho, I think that THIS is why I dislike graphs so much. I can't control it. I can't control where it goes or when it ends or anything. Also to add to the utter feeling of having no control whatsoever, there is an infinity between each point on the graph. There are an infinite amount of numbers (or number of numbers [I hate you Simon]) between each point. If you give me any point close to 1, I am 100% certain that I can find another number closer to 1 than your number. It just goes on forever.
So there are an infinite amount (or number [I hate you Simon]) of infinities that go on to infinity. This is enough to make me feel like I am lost in the darkest depths of space. This is also how big God is. Except he's way bigger than and infinity of infinities that goes on to infinity. Inconceivable.
That is why I feel like it is strange at times when all these smart people try to disprove God. One would think that the smart people would be the ones to realize truly how big God is and that he might be out of their league. Sometimes, I think they do it because they don't like the idea of there being something that they cannot understand despite all their smart brains and intelligence. It's really a shame though.
PostScript. I'm going to record Esperanza Rising in the Empire of Daisies soon. And afterwards, when Rebekah Baird has time, we're going to start performing in the Orange Room! So when we do, I hope a lot of people come out. And spread the word about A Bird In The Empire. I already shamelessly advertise this band too much. But don't worry, it won't stop me. :D

just become a math major already. you're only appreciating the very surface of math. :) imagine how much you can appreciate once you go deeper and further into it!
EWWWWWWWW!!! I like concrete truths. Not unreliable things like theorems and junk. Sorry dude. You should just become a bible major. Make life simple. You just cross out all the useless variables and you end up with Jesus. Boy.
Dude! That is exactly why I love it too... things that can beautifully simplify to basic expressions yet can be just as limitless as the universe itself in the expression of complex phenomenon. hahaha. Love it!
Too bad it has been so long that i have forgotten how to do most of it.
