Glee is a show about misfits and Community is a show about misfits. I guess people nowadays are feeling more and more like misfits. So in order to satisfy their lives, the geniuses at television entertainment decided to make more shows about misfits!
Regardless, they are very entertaining shows from what I've seen so far.
